"Turquoise Luncheon":
Today was the
"Turquoise Luncheon" at the Albuquerque Museum - every three years
docents receive another turquoise to add to their docent badge. There
are three of us remaining from a training class of 17 (from 21 years
ago). So I now have seven chunks of turquoise on my badge.

True Leader Over the Years:
Sadly, President
Biden's health is in the news right now. But, He has been around in
Democratic politics for a long time. Back in 1972 he was first elected
to the US Senate. That was the same year that I was elected as a
delegate to the national convention. Biden and I are the same age -
it's been a long journey - still Biden remained the same decent and
strongly committed person through all his years in office. Thank You
Joe for being the kind od Democrat we can truly admire.

1st Place:
My painting of
"Oscar Butler" won 1st Place in the small paintings at the NMWS Spring
Exhibition. We always enjoy Oscar's music at local art faies. As a
singer, songwriter, and Delta-style guitarist, Oscar Butler captivates
audiences with his unique blend of charm and musical ingenuity. With a
natural ease on stage, he effortlessly delivers his original
compositions, infusing them with his often humorous take on life's
twists and turns.
