Watercolor Critique (6/16):
Lots of sound advice was delivered at last nights NMWS Meeting at the Albuquerque museum. "Jae" Drummond and Bud Edmondson critiqued members paintings at the June meeting. Also, at this meeting Toni Seidel turned over the NMWS presidents office to Steve Maize.

Las Cruces Exhibit (6/6):
Nice Surprise - My Hollyhock painting got 1st Place in the NMWS-SC Show in LasCruces. We drove down to Las Cruces and back today. Laurel Weathersbee and her hubby Bill treated us to a great Mexican meal before the opening. Tomorrow morning we hang the show at the Unitarian Church - then I pack the car and head for Taos.

28 Years of Great Food (6/5):
After 28 years of painting and eating the great food at the Sagebrush Inn in Taos, New Mexico I've added a bit of weight on me. This being the last year of the Watercolor Workshop - perhaps I can start to loose a few pounds.

Spring Show Ended Today (6/1):

Today is the final day for the NMWS Spring Show. Artists pick up their paintings between 4 and 5 this afternoon. Later, my bride and I are going to take in an Isotopes game. Baseball, hot dogs and beer - what could be better on a Summer evening ?
Yesterday, I attended the Rose show at the Albuquerque Garden Center. My painting of Two Yellow Roses was on display. I was delighted to find art by two good friends, Rex and Sara, also on display.
