...

August 22 - Railyard Shadows:
Today, I started a rough drawing for a new railyard watercolor. This one is titled "Railyard Shadows". I love shadows. The size is about 2/3 of a sheet. Matted it should fit into a 28 x 22 inch frame.

Car Loaded  For Tomorrow:
Hard to believe - but I got all my framed paintings, matted paintings and reproductions into my car. I did leave room for my bride and myself. I deliver everything to the convention center at 8:00 am tomorrow. I even made special receipts just in case something sells. I have a "Square" so I can take charges - but those receipts are in the buyers e-mail.

August 12 - Homewise Mural:

August 3 - ALMA Tile:
I sent this Thank You to ALMA after the fantastic presentation they did for the New Mexico Watercolor Society this morning.

To Everyone at ALMA,
I want you to know what a great job Vanessa and Jilleen did in explaining ALMA to our members at the New Mexico Watercolor Society this morning. Our artist were quite impressed, they ask lots of questions and got very complete answers. Now that they know more about the tile murals - we encouraged them to check out the fantastic art that enhances our city. As an art teacher, the presentation reinforced how important hands-on learning is. ALMA is a true master of teaching both learning and life skills to young people.
            Thank You for Sharing, Woody

August 2 - Hollyhocks Finished:

Last Week - Door to Door Politics:
One afternoon afternoon - Ane Romero (on our ring door bell camera) She is campaigning for votes in her run for 4th district city council seat. The election is in November. Face to face - door to door is the best way to get elected. We first met our current governor this way years ago when she was running for county commissioner.

After I posted on Facebook, She responded - "There is such a thing as the joy of doorknocking! I love this! Thank you, Woody Duncan, for sharing and posting. It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday."
