Some Other Subjects

These paintings are of a very personal nature.
Years ago, I painted using liquid watercolors.
I used round plates, from Le Menu diet dinners
as palettes for mixing my colors.
My Palettes
The Shih Tzu is our dog Kuan Yin.
Shes a Chinese dog so we named he after
the Chinese Goddess of Compassion.

The lady driving the ski boat is Dee,
my wifes sister. The boat is on the 
Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri.

The White Water rafting painting shows
inflated rafts on the Rio Grande near Taos,
New Mexico. I titled it Fathers Day
because that was the day in June when I painted it.

The ladder and shaft of light is inside a Kiva
attached to Wilson and CJs home on the Taos mesa.
A Kiva is the underground ceremonial room
in many Native American religions.

The window is inside the reconstructed town of Rayado,
near Cimarron, New Mexico.
The town was established by Kit Carson.
