Watercolor/Collage
 Workshop

Albuquerque 5th Graders

May 17th, 2011
....................................................

As part of the WFWS 36 watercolor exhibition, a watercolor workshop was conducted
for 5th graders.  They painted, in the Fine Arts Building, while surrounded by all
the great paintings in this year's WFWS exhibition.

The students began by tearing paper to create a collage landscape.

The torn paper was glued down to create a background, middle ground and fore ground.

After a break for lunch, the students began to paint their landscapes.

Several of our finished landscapes are below.

Without the help of Ann, Sharon, Lannie and Debbie
this workshop would not have been possible.

Of course, we had an exceptional group of students to work with.
